SafeTFirst.com is announcing a new service that can rescue anyone in danger.

The service is free and can save lives.  Every child that has a mobile phone should sign up for this free service.

Better than next generation 911, the system brings help to anyone in danger much faster, even in seconds.  A nearby authority or volunteer who can walk over to the person in distress and ask if they are OK.  This fast response can stop an abduction while it is happening, before the child disappears.

Registered smart phones can send an Alert that knows where this child is and can send help directly to her location.

Help is identified in advance as:

  • Your list of Friends and Family, police, or a new service called PathFinders. The system knows if the caller is at home, and will notify one list, or if at school, notify another list, or after school notify still another list, so that the closest help is always called to assist the child.
  • The Rescue system also uses 911 to notify the police but can, with the cooperation of the police, dispatch directly to the police, and directly to the nearest policeman or police vehicle.
  • The new PathFinder service, which is being formed, will use volunteers who are nearby to come to the assistance of the child.

PathFinders are being recruited from police, fire, EMT, CERT, Guard Companies, the medical community, as well as business owners and their staff.   Nationally there are about 1.5 police officers per thousand people.  We believe PathFinder volunteers can reach 15-20 per thousand, and greatly improve the time when someone can be present and stop a dangerous encounter before any harm takes place.
