Your local police or sheriff's department is your best resource.  If it is truly an emergency, CALL 911.

The Justice Department and state laws require that your state law enforcement agency or AMBER Alert coordinator work with local law enforcement agency to determine whether the guidelines to issue an AMBER alert are in place.

You may also want to contact the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800 THE LOST (1-800-843-5678) or see http://www.MissingKids.com  if your child age 17 or younger is missing.

AmberAlert.com is a technology company that provides software to state agencies in order that they can issue AMBER Alerts.  We have no ability to issue an amber alert on your behalf.
